What is Current Detection Technology?

Current Detection technology is the advanced solution for risk prevention. This device usually relies on the power of a single USB port to perform sequential read/write duties. However, random read/write duties may require more power (Peak Current) than a single USB can provide. Without sufficient Peak Current, the device or PC may be damaged.

This technology verifies the maximum current output of your computer's USB ports. The LED indicator on the device will inform you whether one port is ready to perform or if a second USB port is needed for additional power. If the LED light on the back panel is red, simply plug in the second USB connector.
